The Emirates Library is a specialized library whose collections reflect the mission and goals of the National Archives. The Library was founded with the establishment of the National Archives back in 1968. It provides researchers, scholars and students services and access to its’ rich specialized collections in print, electronic, and multimedia formats.  Its’ main objective is to collect resources and references about the United Arab Emirates, Arabian Gulf Region, the Arab World and Islamic Civilization.

The American University in Cairo (AUC)

The library provides the academic community with one of the largest English-language research collections in Egypt. It contains nearly 400,000 volumes and 1700 current periodical subscriptions. More than 65 databases provide online access to an additional 6,000 periodicals, many in full-text. Faculty and students can access databases and information about the collections and services. The main library has approximately 90 public access computers available, and has recently opened a new computer lab equipped with wireless technology.
